THE WORLD'S GREATEST AIRSHOW

Few events can rival the intensity, drama and spectacle on offer at the world's greatest airshow. The Air Tattoo, one of the UK's premier outdoor events, returns next summer on 13-15 July and will be marking a very special occasion in 2018, the centenary of the Royal Air Force. As well as commemorating the past achievements, we'll also be celebrating the present and helping to inspire the future of the RAF.

Aircraft at the Show
Aircraft are the stars of the Air Tattoo and soon you'll find all the information about the aircraft and operators invited to participate in the 2018 show. We will be having a full three days of airshows with over 7 hours of flying on Friday, Saturday and Sunday in 2018. Because RIAT 2018 will be a different event, many display participants will be different on each day. We won't know more about this until closer to the event.
In 2017, 246 aircraft from 32 air arms in 26 countries participated with 63 Official Military Delegations also in attendance. On Sunday 16, visitors were treated to a surprise flypast by a B-2 Spirit stealth bomber, escorted by two F-15 fighters.

RAF100 at the Air Tattoo
The 2018 Air Tattoo will be a different event to that which you know - as we come together to celebrate one hundred years of the Royal Air Force!

RAF100 at the Air Tattoo, a special one off event, is expected to include flying from the world famous Red Arrows and Britain's newest aircraft, the F-35B Lightning! Friday will be a day not to miss in 2018. This special, full show day, will include a mass RAF flypast, a Royal Review of aircraft plus a lot more!
