Das Covid-19 hat die ganze Welt im Griff. Ganz besonders traf es die Reisebranche, die praktisch alle Ferien verschieben oder gar stornieren musste. Ebenso erging es den Fluggesellschaften, denn alle Flieger blieben ab Boden. Die Swiss, Edelweiss und Helvetic parkten ihre Flugzeuge in Zürich, Amman (Jordanien) und auf dem Flugplatz Dübendorf. Am 13. Juni 2020 machten wir eine kleine Tour mit einem alten Postauto zu den abgestellten Fliegern auf dem Flugplatz Dübendorf. Auf der Fahrt dorthin gab es einige Infos und einen Fotostopp. Viele Flugzeuge in einer Reihe bekommt man, hoffen wir, nicht so schnell wieder vor die Linse. Es war interessant und zugleich traurig. Nach dem Mittagessen besuchten wir dann noch das Museum. In der Folgewoche verliessen die Maschinen Dübendorf wider, um uns in ferne Ziele zu bringen. Covid-19 has the whole world in its grip. The travel industry was particularly hard hit, with virtually all holidays postponed or even cancelled. The same happened to the airlines, as all planes remained grounded. Swiss, Edelweiss and Helvetic parked their planes in Zurich, Amman (Jordan) and at Dübendorf airfield. On 13th June 2020, we took a short tour in an old post bus to the parked aircraft at Dübendorf airfield. On the way there, there was some info and a photo stop. We hope you won't get many planes in a row in front of your lens again so quickly. It was interesting and sad at the same time. After lunch we visited the museum. The following week, the planes left Dübendorf again to take us to distant destinations. |
